HISTORY
The idea for African Canadian Children’s Literary Festival ( ACCLF ) was created in 2005 by Sasha Allison. In 2006, she gathered a group of friends, fellow artists and community developers to join the planning committees. Out of that initial meeting was formed a smaller group of four who would go on to found and produce the first ever African Canadian Children’s Literary Festival in March 2007.
